The tuner's advanced digital signal processing software has the ability to tune a wide range of instruments. The tuner software provides a digital display for high precision and easy reading. It displays a note's pitch (fundamental frequency) in Hertz. It displays a note's name in the chromatic scale (for example C#) and indicates as a percentage whether a note is slightly sharp or flat. A plot of the amplitude-versus-time waveform is plotted on a calibrated grid. Optionally, the note A above Middle C may be set at a frequency other than the default 440.000 Hertz.
