Along with the sun sign and moon sign, the Arabic
parts also help you understand yourself better. This
has given rise to a most unconventional kind of
astrology. These are important points on your natal
chart which are calculated by addition and subtraction
of positions of planets. Part of Fortune is one of the
most important Arabic Parts. Knowing this sign along
with your sun sign and moon sign represents your total
astrological personality. The part of fortune is
calculated as follows: For day births (A.M.),
Ascendant + Moon - Sun. For night births (P.M.),
Ascendant + Sun - Moon. The Part of Fortune is
indicative of your goals in life. It tells you more
about your career and work and how much effort you
shall put in to achieve your goals. It tells you more
about your relationship with the physical world. It
gives a better idea about your happiness and
prosperity.
