Survival Gear

1.0
What survival gear your bug out bag contains is
dependent upon what you are going to be doing and
under what circumstances you will need to use it. A
car survival kit will be different than a wilderness
survival kit. For example you may want a means to
break windows or cut a seat belt for a car survival
kit. For a wilderness survival kit you will need at
the very least a means of starting a fire, preferably
3 different methods, and a source of drinking water of
2 liters per day per person. Food in the form of some
energy bars will help you keep your spirits up but are
not absolutely essential. If you have a source for
water and a container you can heat it up in you can
boil it to make it safe to drink. Other options
include iodine tablets or a sawyer water bottle filter
systems designed to remove microorganisms.
