A Windows terminal emulator that supports Secure Shell (SSH) as well as telnet, rlogin, serial, and TAPI protocols. SSH provides encrypted login, terminal sessions, and data transfer. SecureCRT is highly customizable and easy to use. SecureCRT authentication options include password, RSA, and TIS. Port forwarding allows redirecting TCP/IP ports over an encrypted channel. Supported encryption ciphers are Blowfish, DES, 3DES and RC4. Secure file transfer can be done using ZModem. Other new features include X11 forwarding, which enables encrypting X Windows sessions, and variable compression, which allows users with dialup connections to tune SecureCRT for maximum performance. SSH security has been enhanced with the addition of detection code for the CORE-SDI insertion attack. For easy multiple connections, SecureCRT now remembers passphrases as long as one instance is running. SecureCRT delivers quality VT100, VT102, VT220 and ANSI terminal emulations with ANSI color support. Customization options include keymaps and login scripts, with many other choices including fonts, cursors, and color schemes. SecureCRT is now available worldwide.
