UnitStar is a unit converter that handles hundreds of
units in dozens of categories (such as length, time,
temperature, dynamic viscosity). It gives the
conversion formula as well as information about units,
including history and current definition. Output can be
displayed in exponential or fixed decimal notation with
or without commas. Intuitive interface and
comprehensive help file included. An additional feature
allows the creation of HTML "field" conversion tables
giving equivalency of two units in graduated steps. The
user can also add units. Several special conversions
are included, such as Roman numerals and number bases
(binary, octal, etc.). UnitStar was a finalist in the
1998 Ziff-Davis Shareware Awards.
