pdfFocus

This is a specialized application for adding data
fields to existing PDF forms or scanned form images and
convert them into PageFocus forms for data entry and
data collection. The package contains an easy to use
editor and a runtime program for data entry and saving.
The editor requires the installation of the Open Source
Software, Ghostscript.

The package supports double-byte languages, including
vertical text entry. Has spell check for American English.

You can use the editor to add entry fields, selection
list field, equation field (for automatic computation
at runtime), check boxes and radio buttons. The
completed form can be distributed to your reader who
can download the free PageFocus Reader to enter and
save and email data for your data collection purpose.

The runtime program lets you perform data entry, or
data merge, save data record into record file, or save
the entire merged form into PageFocus report format for
distribution. It also has an FTP function for the user
to submit data record to an FTP site for data
collection purpose.
