Sitemonitor  -  Version  1.03 Main Program Up to 10 sites / pages can be polled sequentially at a specified time period. Monitoring is performed using ping (smtp) and (echo) as well as browser load (cached or uncached). Sitemonitor creates performance graphs using a benchmark site for comparison. Sites that are down or unreachable are logged and can be emailed to a specified address at a regular time interval. Site status can be flagged using either a pop up alert window or voice. The voice alert makes use of TTS (text to speech) - Windows built in speech API (SAPI). You will obviously need a sound card and speaker for voice notification to work. The quality of speech in Windows Vista is very good. With a bit of tweaking in XP you will be able to achieve acceptable speech quality. Sitemonitor can also be set to run in silent mode with simple pop up notification if preferred. The last 10 ping times for each monitored site are shown graphically with colour coded speed bands.
