The freeware version of Univerter. UniverterLite was
made for people who don't need the customization and
significant digits functionality provided in the full
version Univerter. Although its units/constants
database is smaller than its bigger brother's,
UniverterLite is still a powerful tool for students,
engineers and scientists. UniverterLite combines
advanced units conversion and calculation abilities
into an easy-to use tool for anyone who needs to
perform calculations that contain values with
differing units. Going far beyond the simplistic one-
to-one units conversion programs that require wading
through hundreds if not thousands of conversion
factors, UniverterLite actually parses equations into
separate words that it then tries to correlate with
units and constants that it has been programmed to
recognize. The result is a program that allows you to
type equations as you would write them.
