Hypnotize was a huge hit by Notorious BIG, aka Biggie.
This song was released in April 1997 off of the album
Life After Death. When Hypnotize was released it was
at number two on Billboard's top songs and the
following week reached number one, making Biggie
Smalls the fifth artist in Hot 100 history to have a
posthumous chart-topper. Biggie-Hypnotize was also
nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 1998
Grammy Awards. The single reached #10 in the UK,
making this his first top 10 hit in that country. The
song was already a huge hit but when it was played at
The Notorious B.I.G's funeral, it was ingrained in the
