Kalkulator
-
Version
2.30
This is perhaps the most powerful scientific and
engineering calculator for Windows. It starts from
a "normal" calculator functionality: evaluating
arithmetic expressions, which can be entered,
evaluated, then corrected, modified and recomputed at
will, with 18 digits of precision. Results can be
stored in variables and re-used in other calculations.
More than 100 functions have been provided, including
the hard-to-find inverse integral statistical
distributions; there are user-defined functions as
well.
The results can be presented in various formatst,
fixed- and floating-point, deg/min/sec, etc., or
converted between various units of measurement. Some
physical constants are predefined as well.
But this is just the beginning. Expressions can be
submitted to graphing, numerical integration and
differentiation, or to a zero search. Maximum/minimum
search for functions of up to nine arguments is also
possible.
Kalkulator also finds real and complex roots of
polynomial equations, up to quartic, and solves
systems of linear, non-linear, and differential
equations (ODE).
There is a statistical data buffer with computation of
distribution parameters. The data can be presented as
histograms or scatter plots and fitted with an
arbitrary function of up to 9 arguments.
A separate window serves as a computer math
calculator, performing operations in decimal, hex,
octal, or binary notation, in 8, 16, or 32-bit word
length.
The program has been evolving on various OS platforms
for the last 15 years, being refined and polished
through all this time. This shows: the more advanced
features do not overwhelm the more casual user. An
extensive Help file is included, so is a text file
with step-by-step examples.
