ACES Personalization Kit 2.1 - is a set of easy-to-
integrate tools for providing MS IIS with additional
authorization support based on the flexibility of
Apache-style configuration files stored in protected
areas.
This software product allows any Internet or
Intranet site owner to build and manage customer
relationships, direct personalized information to
individual users, understand customer usage patterns,
build communities among members, and control access to
the content and user information.
With the help of our personalization tool you can
protect your web site even without being an advanced
user as the process of the product installation and
setting of access rights to site resources was
automated and simplified to the limit.
Using this tool you can create protected site
areas (realms) and restrict in access any types of
files including static HTML and images.
It is possible to store user data both in text
files and in any OLEDB sources, including LDAP or
ActiveDirectory. This feature allows you to store user
data separately from standard Windows NT/2000 users
and organize the advanced database management.
ACL presented in the form of text files contribute
much to software flexibility. It allows changing
configuration without much effort, uploading ACL files
by HTTP protocol and provides the complete adjustment
to Apache server authentication system.
Using ACES Personalization Kit you will be able to
emulate visitor session for further analysis. It is
also possible to track a visitor between sessions to
see how often he addresses your site and what his
priorities are.
The security level of the tool becomes much higher
as compared to the 1.0 version thanks to some changes
concerning authentication algorithm. Now besides
Cookie-free Basic and Cookie authentication the
product allows you to use more secure Digest
authentication.
Moreover you can specify redirect parameters of
different server states and keep the log of ACES
Personalization Kit filters operation.
