Detect programs that are using your Internet connection and prevent some of them. Virtually every program on your computer can detect your Internet connection and use it for sending and receiving any kind of data, without your knowledge, using your hard disks. NetPD 1.0 runs in systray and informs you whenever any program tries to use Internet. The only thing you have to do is to maintain 3 lists: programs that can use Internet without notification, programs that need your approval and programs that are blocked from Internet use NetPD will prompt you if a new program tries to establish Internet connection and enable you to place it into appropriate category.
