A utility that tracks changes made to your system during the installation or removal of software or hardware. Changes tracked include additions, deletions, or modifications to files and directories, INI files, and the Registry. All information is stored in a database so that it can be accessed later to generate reports. The Registry entries can also be exported to a REG file for later use. Knowing what has changed when installing software, hardware, or updating your configuration keeps you better informed. This knowledge can then be used in several ways: Assist users, clients, or friends with standardized hardware or software configurations Inform users, clients, or friends of changes after they install new software or hardware Create documentation for developers or technical support staff Verify installation programs Resolve problems or software conflicts Provide technical support with actual facts instead of guesses when attempting to resolve issues Save time by restoring installed software with exactly the same settings 'Clone' software to multiple PCs (be sure to comply with your license agreement).
