Recipient of the EGA award Rising Star of The Year in
2009, Poker Heaven is a relatively new yet popular
online poker room. Poker Heaven is a member of the
Boss Poker Network and is primarily marketed to the
European and Asian markets. One of the reasons behind
their quick rise is their strong affiliation with The
Poker Channel, a highly successful U.K. satellite
poker channel that broadcasts a wide variety of poker
tournaments from around the world. The Poker Channel
broadcasts Poker Heaven games live on their network
and the shows are quite popular.
Despite not accepting U.S. players, the poker site has
good traffic with over 10,000 players online at peak
hours. The selection of games at Poker Heaven is quite
good and they offer a very good selection of exciting
tournaments. While the graphics are simple, the
software runs very well with the exception of some
issues when multi tabling and the lobby is very well
organized.
