Established in 2006 and licensed out of the UK, PKR
offers their players incredibly sophisticated 3D
software and an interface that resembles a video game
more than it does a poker room. This shouldn't come as
a surprise as the founder of PKR Technologies Ltd. as
well as many of its software developers came to the
company with a strong background in game design.
The downside to PKR's sophisticated 3D software is
that it requires a relatively large amount of hard
disk space which can be burdensome for some older
computers and also computers with weaker internet
connections. Thankfully, PKR has had the foresight to
design a lite version of their software allowing
people with older model computers and poor internet
service to get in on the action.
Online now for 4 years, PKR is a company on the move
with user numbers steadily rising; it is expected to
catch up with the big online players in the not so
