The program has been created as common application for
surveillance cross platforms working all together with
wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture
boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web
interface with the same look and functionality on the
local and apart pcs. Customers see MPEG coded picture
and have complete control of the software using net
that surveillance computer can be operated with no
screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s
modular structure considerably increases reliability
because all parts proceed as independent applications.
If one unit fails, other modules continue working. For
instance if the `record` module fails, `watchdog`
starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice
anything because they are watching video via a
`playback` component. The software makes `repeated`
recording that the `hard drive full` situation never
happens. The recording can be constant or it can be
triggered by motion, human face recognition, or by
calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm
