Word Count is a free word counter that batch counts
words across several file types such as Portable
Document Format (PDF), Microsoft Word 2003 documents
(DOC), Microsoft Word 2007 (DOCX), Rich Text Format
(RTF) and Text Documents (TXT). Word Count allows you
add together the word counts of any number of files
saved in a directory. It includes an option to search
for all documents within directories that reside
within the chosen root directory. Word count will
display the total number of words within each
individual file and also display the cumulative number
of words across the files.
