A smaller, faster and better, FREE, 32-bit Notepad replacement. I think most experienced Windows users would agree that metapad beats Notepad in almost every possible way. I have been extra careful to keep metapad very small and fast by writing it in pure C with the Win32 API just as Notepad was written. metapad is an excellent replacement for Notepad because it supports every feature in Notepad. I have also added many extra features which make metapad considerably more powerful than Notepad!
