switch over to the standby database. Switchover to
standby DB is transparent for external applications!
Moreover a Standby Database is ready to be used for

shadow environment and reporting, to name a few

MyFSys has open source code. Anybody can use and
modify MyFSys and download this software from the
Internet and use without paying anything. If you wish,
you may study the source code and change it to suit
your needs.
