POLLINE is a " proxy ", a program that allow to all users of a Local Network Area to be connected to the Internet using a single modem. Each user can surf the WEB, send and receive mail and transfer files using FTP as directly connected. POLLINE can automatically call your provider when a LAN user try access the Internet - and automatically disconnect after a "silence time". The POLLINE local cache permit a "off-line" access to Internet: the sites access by any user will be available to all network users also when the phone line is disconnected.
