Verbum is a simple, user friendly word processor that
works with a wide selection of file formats. When
working with Verbum, do not expect to find fancy
ribbon menus or lots of tools, like in Microsoft
Office. Verbum aims to be a clean, lightweight word
processor with just the basic functionality, but which
works perfectly fine for simple, everyday tasks.
Verbum features the classic word processor interface,
with an addition of tabs. When you would like to work
on a single document without the clutter of the tabs,
you can float (disconnect) the document from the main
interface, by double-clicking on a tab or dragging it
away from the tab bar. The interface can also easily
be personalized by applying one of the many skins
included.
So, what can Verbum do and what makes it different
from other word processors?
