The Linux recovery software is available with three
different sections which perform Ext2, Ext3 partition,
ReiserFS partition and JFS partition respectively. It
scans the hard drive and searches for lost data and
deleted files. When the scanning process starts, the
software starts searching for the lost files and
folders from the found partitions of the disk. Once the
scan is over, the software displays the list of files
and folders where from the user can pick the data and
save them to another disk.
The software is empowered with Save Recovery Snapshot
feature which further minimizes disk analysis time.
Also, it is enabled with File Filter option for easily
locating a file from the recovery tree. Using this
tool, it is possible to recover volume lost due to
damaged Super Block, Inode Table or Group Descriptor Block.
Kernel for Linux fully supports Linux data recovery
from Ext2, Ext3 file system based Linux operating
systems such as Red Hat, Mandrake, Turbo, SuSe, Debian,
Ubuntu and SCO. It effectively recovers the data from
