Corrupt Office Extractor is a GUI power house piece of
software for recovering data and text from corrupt MS
Office 2007 and 2010 format files. In addition to
displaying extracted text or data from corrupt docx,
xlsx and pptx files, it features the ability to test
and repair the zip structure of the Office files.
Docx, xlsx and pptx files are in reality
conventionally zipped collections of XML files. File
corruption can occur to the zip or the XML parts. Zip
repair is occasionally useful for recovering text/data
from these files or as a pretreatment before text/data
extraction.
This program works to recover text and data where MS
office fails because MS Office of poor zip corruption
recovery and still strict XML format requirements.
Corrupt Office Extractor has neither of these
problems. There's even an advanced view too for those
brave souls wishing to attempt to explore & repair
corrupt XML. Additionally in Advance Mode, the program
has the ability to recover images from corrupt docx,
