Boot your backup for instant system recovery! XactCopy is a new technology that delivers low cost, fast recovery from OS and hard drive failures for NT Servers & Workstations. After the initial sector-by-sector backup to a second drive, routine backups are done manually or automatically and typically finish within 1-3 minutes. While in DPSR mode, the backup drive is not accessible to the operating system to ensure data protection. Easily restore files, folders and partitions from within XactCopy. In the event of a drive failure, boot the DPSR drive and be back on-line within minutes without the use of floppies or complicated tape restores. Ideal in RAID systems for fast OS recovery. Requires a second Hard Drive of equal or larger size than the partitions being protected.
