SourceUSB is a software-based USB analyzer for Windows
x86/x64 platforms. Our software has been on the market
since 2004 and is in use by major OEMs such as
Motorola, HP, Siemens, Intel and IBM. SourceUSB has
powerful features that make it a must-have for any
software, firmware, or hardware USB developer.
SourceUSB installs/uninstalls easily from a Windows
installer package. It records USB I/O requests and
events in a binary log file and displays them in real-
time. Logging can start from the time the system
boots, when a device is hot-plugged, or controlled by
user-interface commands. Data can be selected by
filtering and search commands. All recorded data is
time-stamped.
SourceUSB supports USB 1.x, 2.0, and 3.0 host
controllers. It decodes standard descriptors and
requests, as well as those for Hub, HID, and Mass
Storage device classes.
