Great Cakes Without Eggs Version 1.00 Cakes Without Eggs - A Unique Electronic Book This is a hypertext Winhelp baking book, called 'Great Cakes Without Eggs', containing 216 recipes for cakes without eggs. All the old favourites are here: Simnel Cake, Gingerbread, 14 different kinds of Apple cake, Lebanese Date cake, Jewish Orange Cake, Greek Walnut Cake, Texan Christmas Cake, Prune Bread - you name it, it's here. Recipes are organised in sections according to type: Banana, Carob, Citrus, Coconut, Fresh Fruit, Light Dried Fruit, Nuts, Rich Dried Fruit, Spice and Cakes with Vegetables. About 1/4 of the recipes are Vegan, and the others are lacto-vegetarian. Recipes can be printed out with a simple mouse click. The book contains many 16 colour and b/w graphics. My wife and I spent four years testing and putting together this collection. The measures are given in US Cup measures, Imperial and Metric. There is a full index of all cakes, and also of all ingredients, with information about International compatabilities. This is released as a ShareWare programme. It is a Winhelp version of a succesful eggless baking book which we have published as a spiral bound book and sold in England and Europe. This Winhelp version takes special account of US users. We are followers of the Vaishnava culture of India, and our diet excludes meat, fish and eggs, but includes milk and milk products. After extensive research, we are only aware of two other books of eggless baking in publication. There is an Indian one by Indira Kakati and a South African one by the Radha Soami group.
