Sortmenu for Win'98
-
Version
2.2
Does it aggravate you that Windows 98 doesn't automatically sort on the Start menu the new programs you install? For instance, instead of placing new programs alphabetically as Windows 95 did, Windows 98 puts them at the bottom of the Start menu. You need Sortmenu, a free utility that fixes this problem by alphabetically sorting your menu entries. You can either log off and then back on again to see your changes, or have the program restart Explorer while you're "live" in Windows to make the modifications. However, if you try the latter, all your open programs are closed. Luckily, you can set Sortmenu to work its magic each time Windows starts. Note: Sortmenu is for Windows 98 only.
