DateSense2000 for Windows, is a program scanner that helps find and fix the year 2000 bug. DateSense scans any text based program code and highlights areas that may be non-compliant. The user can jump straight to the problem area and fix the bug using the built in program editor. The tool is optimised to find date related code, but can be used for any scanning task, by customising the scan criteria. Many thousands of files from many locations can be scanned in one pass, and the tool produces configurable scan reports. DateSense stores scan criteria in projects, which can be re-used to enable an organisation to scan to a consistent standard.
