WindowSMART 2012 continuously monitors the health of
hard disks and Solid State Disks (SSDs) in your
desktops, laptops and even servers running Windows
XP/Server 2003 through Windows 8/Server 2012,, and
alerts you if problems are detected. You can be
notified by email, and if you have an Android or Apple
phone or tablet, you can be instantly notified through
Notify My Android and Prowl, respectively, on those
devices.
WindowSMART 2012 supports most desktop and laptop disk
controllers with no additional action on your part.
However, some controllers may require you to perform a
driver upgrade to collect SMART data from them. Most
external USB and FireWire enclosures are supported as
well. Unfortunately, hardware RAID not is not
supported, and support for SAS controllers is
currently very limited.
