DocScan Pro integrates a Windows explorer style file
manager with a document scanning and image viewer
which enables single and multi-page documents to be
scanned and retrieved. Scanned documents are accessed
from standard local or network folders and files so
there is no complex database to manage. You can
organise your documents into folders along with your
word processing, spreadsheets and other office files
so they can be found easily by all your staff. With a
built in search facility and a 'Favorite Folders'
feature you can get to all your important files with a
single click. It is easy to print one or more pages of
your document, fax it or attach it to an email and
send it wherever it needs to go. DocScan Pro includes
many features found only in significantly more
expensive and complex packages. You can scan one
document at a time or you can scan a batch of
documents including a mixture with single and multiple
pages. In addition, DocScan Pro can recognise barcodes
and use these to index the file automatically, even
when scanning a batch of documents.
