My Function Keys lets you assign text to your F1 through F12 function keys, individually or in combination with the Ctrl or Shift key. The intuitive visual interface lets you choose a key then enter the text you desire, along with an interface key label. No limit on the number of characters is stated in the brief Help file. This trial version demonstrates the program, limiting your use to F1-F4. Options allow you to disable any key, which might be necessary because My Function Keys will override other programs' uses of the function keys, but you can exempt certain keys from control by this system, and even toggle it on and off using the Scroll Lock key. The system, which can be minimized to the system tray, is easy to use and a convenient way to enter routine text strings into virtually any Windows application.
