Take it all with you! Your stuff that is... MBase32p is
an easy to use portable, free-form Personal information
manager / database that will hold or link to any type
of information. This program does not need to be
installed, just unpack it and use it. It runs
completely from a portable USB drive or if you wish,
your hard drive. It has many advanced features such as
encryption to protect sensitive data, and allows a
simple search on any word, phrase or character in any
field. It can create, attach to, and use multiple
copies of the database. so you can carry databases of
information for each of your needs and interests. This
program is ideal as a knowledge base, or as personal
storage for e-mail, text documents, business
information etc... The records can be encrypted so it
is perfect place to keep all of your passwords. You
just need to remember 1 password to get all the others!
Finding information is as easy as clicking on "Search"
from the menu bar and selecting the field to search and
the characters to search for, or just select a letter
on top of the screen to load a subset of records stored
under that letter. Any record can be printed from the
file menu.Records are added or deleted easily by click
on "Add Record" or "Delete Record" from the menu bar.
Any of your files (documents, presentations,
spreadsheets,games, websites, etc...) can be
"Attached" to any record and launched by it's program
without moving the original file. Web URLs can be
"Attached" to any record and launched in the default
browser. Select font and program options and store them
between sessions. This is fully functioning shareware.
