Sentry is an extremely flexible program that allows you to secure your system, individual files, DOS shell commands, Windows, Win 95 or any combination. It supports up to 100 users with normal and "SuperUser" access. Detailed log files, expiry dates, a mini message system, and an automatic security audit help system administrators run a smooth and secure system. Since Sentry is invoked before any networks are detected, and before "high level" operating systems such as Windows initialize, it provides absolute security for these items. "Networked" security solutions are often faulty since experienced users can gain access to the local network before the security measures are in place. The ShareWare version of Sentry has all the functionality of the registered version, with one exception: it does not encrypt passwords. Special Requirements: 386 or higher CPU.
