DISKLOCK is a Win32 program to lock and unlock floppy disks with a password. DISKLOCK can work on WINDOWS95/98 and WINDOWS NT (4.0..) All disk operations, such as open file, editting, copying, executing....will be denied on a locked floppy disk. The locked floppy disk is thus also anti-copy. But you can still use DOS "dir" or WINDOWS explorer to view the file list on a locked floppy disk, only all disk processing are un-accessible. DISKLOCK supports Drive A and Drive B; floppy disk sizes of 720KB, 1.2MB, 1.44MB, 1.68MB, DMF(1024), DMF(2048), and 1.72 MB. DISKLOCK does not do anything on your floppy disk driver or the I/O controller. It works directly on your floppy disks. You can also lock/unlock disks on different computers on different WINDOWS systems (WINDOWS95/98 and WINDOWS NT). Use ISKLOCK to protect your confidential data fast and tight, while sti ll keeping the mobility of the protected data.
