If you are using a cable modem on a LAN AOL tends to reset your connection setting to "Connect to the Internet using a modem", rather than connecting through your LAN. If you prefer the latter setting it is annoying to have to keep going into Internet Explorer properties to change it back.~~KeepLAN works in the background to check that the setting stays where it should. If AOL changes the setting KeepLAN automatically puts it back. ~~This simple program sits in your system tray for easy access, and you can disable it with the click of your mouse for times when you want to use your conventional modem.
