Complete learn-to-read program of 60 stories (home readers) which are downloaded and printed at home to form illustrated booklets -a gently graded, systematic approach which guarantees results. Early Readers are based on 30 years of research, and follow an explicit Phonic approach, meaning that children can fully "decode" the text using simple phonic rules. This approach enables children to succeed with their early reading, and provides a solid path-of-progression for more complex texts. The Stories are beautifully written, with hundreds of illustrations, and each story rhymes - this helps the child understand the common relationships between the sounds and letters. The Shareware version of Series One allows you to print 10 story-books, and view 11-20. Series One leads to Series 2 & 3 (stories 21 - 60), which contain more complex sounds, multi-syllable words, punctuation and sight words. If your child is introduced to reading via our Early Reading Series, we can promise that, if the Program is mastered, your child will achieve excellence in reading. Assessments of 95% in reading are very common among Early Reading children.
