SpeedNet includes a number of new features. You can now stay on the Net as long as you want with the Stay On feature. You can scan your computer for intruders and holes in your system. If your download doesn't finish, you can use SpeedNet's easy download-resume utility. If you have a favorite site that you can't get enough of, add it to SpeedNet's Fast IP Resolving feature. Finally, if you're worried about your computer crashing or a problem with your computer, SpeedNet now uses Attune technology to bring you the latest on preventative help for your computer. SpeedNet can increase your download speeds by up to 600 percent using the express speed up fucntion. Normally, users can expect to see a 50-200 ncrease in download speed, depending on their current settings and server speeds. Wondering if your speed increased? Use Speednet's speed test to see how fast you are going. Along with other settings in Windows, SpeedNet optimizes Windows to allow for the maximum packet size in order to provide the maximum download speeds. New settings allow for Windows 2000 users to improve their speeds, along with support for higher-speed connections. And, as always, if your connection speed doesn't increase, you can restore your original settings.
