Screen Pass NT protects your network by adding to NT workstations the security features of the popular Screen Pass screensaver for Windows 3.1 and 95/98. Three features define Screen Pass NT: (1) It enforces secure password protection for the screen saver without denying access to the display properties dialog. The user is permitted to change screensavers and modify their settings, but is prevented from turning off the screensaver and its password protection. (2) Screen Pass NT includes an automatic logout feature, configurable by the administrator, that forces idle workstations to logoff the network. (3) Screen Pass NT boasts an improved administrator override function that allows administrators to unlock workstations without forcing a logout and re-logging in as themselves. Screen Pass NT works with Novell Netware, Windows NT, and Banyan Vines. French, German, Swedish and other versions are available by request.
