BootProtect is a program for Windows 95/98/NT, that is designed to help you prevent boot-viruses. Additionally, if you use BootProtect you will never again forget floppy disks or CD-ROMs at work or in any other computer that has BootProtect installed. This is all achieved by warning the user every time there is a disk in one of the drives of the computer when it is shutting down. Of course, the drives that have to be checked for disks can be specified in an easy-to-use settings-dialog. Additionally, you can let BootProtect play a sound file every time it detects a disk in one of your computer's disk-drives. Of course, the user can select the drives to be checked. The user can even provide the BootProtect with an infinite number of label names for disks. BootProtect won't warn if the label of a detected disk is the same as one of the provided labels. Additionally, BootProtect can play a sound when a drive containing a disk is detected. Also, an option is provided to enable the logging of every notification to a file.
