Serial Port Monitor  -  Version  6.29 Beta 6 Kurt Olson's Serial Utility is a small application that can be used to monitor external hardware such as cable modems and hand held terminals. This utility continuously monitors the serial port of the device and automatically generates reports that can be sent via email to any number of recipients. This program was originally written to be used to monitor when a cable modem rebooted, but has since grown and is found to be useful for any number of applications that require the monitoring of serial port activity. In order to use this program you MUST have a null modem cable that you can use to connect your PC or laptop to the diagnostic port of your external device.
