WatchDog is the ultimate application to monitor the time that you (or others) spend on the computer. It can keeps track of an infinite number of users, all of which are uniquely configurable. The user's time period can be based on daily, weekly, monthly or unlimited. Once the user runs out of time, the computer can do a variety of things including shutting down, audio/text messages, etc. It can also restrict the time of day a user may log in and can optionally monitor the URLs a user visits. Some larger sites such as libraries and cyber cafes have found this application useful to managing customer usage. WatchDog is the program for you if you want to monitor OR restrict how long someone spends on the computer. It has a wide variety of options, with many new and interesting features with a networked version under development.
