KIPP3D is a suite of programs for turning plain ASCII
data into 2D contour/topographic and/or 3D surface
graphs and plots. It is designed and priced for the
"poor student." It has many of the features of the
expensive programs as well as a few you won't find
anywhere else. There are no maximum number of input
data points; up to 100 x 100 divisions on a grid;
titles in multiple fonts with sub/superscripts (axes,
main title); and scientific notation or fixed point
representation of numbers. You'll also find the
abilities to view hidden lines or hide the hidden
lines, optional "stretching" of axes instead of scaling
to maintain original data proportions, variable viewing
angles, and user-selected plot colors, with many
independently set. KIPP3D was written to be compatible
with DOS, but works even better under Windows 95, 98,
or NT. (As an added bonus, it can use any graphical
printer you have installed under Windows 9x/NT.)
