“MapInPocket” is a map viewer that enables the user to explore GIS (Geographic Information System) data, namely ESRI’s (Environmental Systems Research Institute) Shapefiles and also other image files like Bitmap, JPEG, GIF etc, easily and efficiently. The user can also draw and save free hand sketch on the map area. This application runs on handheld devices running on Windows CE 2.0 and Windows CE 2.11.
