ZAP Image solution 2.5 is a skinnable image archiving
app. Quite the industrial-strenght app, it actually
archives and indexes the images into a formal database
and single-file archive. Features include: * Backup
all your pictures easily as they are self contained in
a single file that prevents them from being deleted or
renamed unexpectedly. * In most cases you will see a
reduction of 40% or more in drive storage
requirements. Pictures are stored in a non-destructive
compressed format that does not affect the
presentation of the original pictures. * Storing
pictures from different directories with the same name
has been addressed by assigning a unique number to
every picture in the database. * You may also use a
password to restrict access to specific pictures, a
valuable feature for professional applications
(medical records for example), or to protect the
privacy of your graphic collection. An interesting
side-aspect of the program is that is uses our
WinLIFT.dll to perform the skinning, a seperate
product that has been made available to PB/DLL
developers.
