MakeCDROM is an intuitive, versatile application to help you create a fully customized front-end menu for your CD-ROM -- including graphics and sound that will give your newly created CD-ROM a professional look. Featuring the ability to nest menus, as well as support for .bmp and .gif file formats and a "Test Run" button to put your creation through its paces, this utility will also help you create HotSpots (images that can link to any action). When the end user clicks on a HotSpot image, you can set it up so that a .wav file plays or a Rollover image (an image file that overlays the background image) displays; you can even have a Rollover .wav file play when the end user's mouse points to the Rollover image. Worthy customization features include the ability to configure background images, company logo images, and the "Browse CD" button. This unregistered version allows you to create and define only three HotSpots; the registered version allows you to create 20 HotSpots per CD-ROM.
