Pocket DB is a database program designed for the new
generation of Pocket PCs, specifically the Compaq iPaq
H36360/3650, Casio E-115, and HP Jordana 54X series.
The program should also work on the other members of
the same Pocket PC family.
Using Pocket DB, you can create/remove new tables,
add/remove records on your Pocket PC. Data can be
accessed under both "Grid View" and "Record View"
modes. You can search for data using one
of three different search modes: "Whole Field", Start
of Field", and "Any Part of Field".
Pocket DB even allows you sort on any field in either
ascending or descending order. Furthermore, you can
selectively retrieve only records that meet certain
criteria using filters.
The Professional Edition of Pocket DB includes a
desktop application called Pocket DB Utils that allows
you to transfer Microsoft Access 97 or Access 2000
tables to/from the device.
Using Pocket DB Utils, you can export tables from
Access to the mobil device, add/edit/update the
tables, and import them back to Access any time.
