If the scheduling of ShutdownPlus Professional appeals
to you, ShutdownPlus Remote can automatically, by
groups and scheduled days/time from a central NT/2000
computer, shutdown, restart, logoff, or standby a
remote client computer. It can even display a custom
message to the user beforehand and optionally give the
user the chance to stop the process.
It consists of two components, the Client and the
Server. The Client can be installed on any 9x, Me,
NT4W, or 2kProf computer. It runs in the background
waiting for instruction by the Server. The Server is
what communicates with the clients and it is where
clients are added and assigned a group. The Server can
run on any NT or 2000 computer.
