SmartMonitor Plus  -  Version  1.0 SmartMonitor-Plus uses S.M.A.R.T. to detect and alert you of impending IDE hard drive failures before they occur. This provides you with the time to backup data and replace the hard drive before the failure occurs. SmartMonitor-Plus retrieves the status information from the hard drive and continuously compares this to initial thresholds set when the drive is manufactured. SmartMonitor-Plus then presents this information to the user in a graphical format so that the user can determine if a replacement drive is required.
