File Viewer is a File/Disk Management Program
allowing you to Find, Organize, View, Print and Email
files of the major file types. Pictures, Sounds,
Music, Videos, Documents, Text, Databases, Spread
Sheets and System Files are supported. File Viewer
is useful to new PC users in helping them to become
familiar with the different file extensions, and how
these files are used. This program is also useful to
experienced PC users to quickly locate files to see
what is present on their system, and organize files
in a database with descriptions, comments, file
value, and search words.
Picture and Image editing is also included.
Some of the functions included are:
1. Search disk or CD Rom for common files by file
type (extension).
2. View files in multiple window format.
3. View Pictures and Multimedia files on the
internet.
4. Picture ThumbNail window displaying pictures in a
folder, click to view enlarged picture.
5. View DBase, Access, Excel, Word, Wordpad, Works
Files, and Text Files.
6. Save files to another folder location or with a
new file name.
7. Print most of the viewed files (Pictures, Text,
Documents, Database, and Spread Sheets).
8. Send files alone or in Zip File Format over the
Internet using Window's MAPI component.
9. Receive files alone or in Zip File Format over
the
Internet using Window's MAPI component.
10. Microsoft's Multi-Media player built in for MIDI,
MP3, AVI, MPG, MPEG, and MOV Files.
11. Find and Play all the MP3 files on your disk.
12. Separate Play Lists for Music and Video Files.
13. Load the program commonly used to create or
maintain the file.
14. Organize your files by groups in a database for
quick retrieval.
15. Files can be organized for Disk, CD-Rom, and
across the local area network.
16. Organize your entire Disk or CD Rom for all files
by Pictures, Text, Documents, Database, and Multimedia
Files.
17. Create a printed list of all locations of a
particular file, or file type.
18. Some picture editing functions as Rotate, Resize,
Brightness, Contrast.
19. Copy Sections of Pictures on to other Pictures of
the same File Type.
20. Add Text of many fonts and colors to pictures.
21. Add Geometric Shapes of many colors to pictures.
22. Load Pictures or Multimedia over the internet if
you know the URL.
24. Change window and window component background
colors.
25. Find and Unzip Zip Files.
26. Disk File Utility functions such as Save, Rename,
Move, Delete, and Batch Copy.
27. Local Area Network support. Find, View and
Organize Files across a Network.
28. The File Viewer Program fully tested for use
under
Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP
with Pentium Class microprocessors.
29. Must have 50 Megabytes of free disk space, best
to have at least 128 Mb of RAM - 176 Mb or greater
Recommended, and Pentium microprocessor.
30. Search for strings in Text Files and Database
Files.
31. View Database Files by Index and Tables.
32. Complete Disk Utilities as Copy, Move, Rename,
Delete, and Zip Files.
33. Batch File Utilties for Rename, Copy, Move,
Delete, and Zip Files from any location.
34. Click FileView.Exe from Windows Explorer or
Start -> Run -> FileView.exe to install the File
Viewer.
Supported File Types include: BMP, JPG, EMF, WMF, ICO,
CUR, WAV, MID, RMI, AVI, MPG, MPEG, MOV, MP3,ASX, TIF,
PCX, PNG, PSD, AWD, PCT, TGA, CUT, PCD, FPX, PBM, RAS,
MAC, FAX, AWD, XPM, CLP, XWD, FLC, ANI, SGI, DOC, TXT,
BAT, SYS, INI, HTM, HTML, SHTML, ZIP, DBF, DB, MDB,
XLS, and WK4.
