WindowFX is one of the few programs that takes
advantage of new APIs in Windows 2000 and Windows XP
to provide a host of cool special effects such as real
shadows under windows and menus, transparent windows
and menus, fade effects, and ghosting. It also has
useful features that work on Windows 98/Me, such as
being able to set a window to maximize to a specific
size, have 3D icon text, transparent icon labels, and
more. Version 1.2 introduces the 3D icon label text
and is now hardware accelerated by the latest Nvidia
Geforce, ATI Radeon, and Matrox G400 drivers on
Windows 2000 and XP.
